Produced to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the replacement of the Guinea by the Sovereign following the “Great Recoinage” act of 1816

A previously owned example with the edition number 90 of only 100 Sets produced

The set is in excellent order with only a few minor marks

Set includes the 2016 Guinea  & the 2017 Sovereign

Each proof coin is of 22 carat gold

The Guinea has a weight of 8.4 grams and a diameter of 24 mm, the Sovereign has a weight of 7.98 grams and a diameter of 22.05 mm

Complete with wooden presentation box of issue, original key, scrolled certificate of authenticity, booklet, and outer box.
